“The test was a great way to kick off the 2007 season for us,” stated McDowell. “I really feel ESR has put together a championship caliber team”.
McDowell posted the seventh fastest time of 49.638 seconds at 181.313 mph on the second of the three days. Nearly 80 cars posted times providing stiff competition on the speed chart.

“The times do not really reflect where everyone should fall due to the draft and different agendas,” said McDowell. “I feel we have a real shot at the pole in February. We were at the top of the charts without the draft in every session”.
