HOLLYWOOD, CA (June 9, 2009) – Eddie Sharps Racing’s Tim George Jr. and edgy apparel company Chrome Hearts sign an Associate Sponsorship Agreement and will appear on the No. 2 Ruby Tuesday/Chrome Hearts Toyota at the Racing For Wildlife 200 ARCA RE/MAX Series Race at Michigan Int'l Speedway on June 12th and 13th.
“I am proud to be associated with Chrome Hearts.” George Jr. exclaims. “Their high-fashion apparel is on the edge, which fits perfectly into my lifestyle. Richard and Laurie of Chrome Hearts have been so great, and Penny has also been very helpful on the merchandise side of our sponsorship. Now it is time for me to deliver on and off of the track representing the brand in the right light.”

Chrome Hearts, based in Hollywood, CA, has over 70 boutique shops worldwide. Their clothing is comfortable, fashionable, and very high quality. Having a state of the art factory right in the mix of Hollywood really transpires into their goods. “The first time that I saw Chrome Hearts, I thought that it was a fresh and unique line, and many celebrities sport their products. It is a great honor to represent this boutique brand.” George Jr. stated.
Chrome Hearts CFO, Mario Lejtman commented, “We are interested in expanding our brand awareness into areas that illustrate a fast lane lifestyle. Tim George Jr., and Auto Racing certainly exemplify that image.” Founded in 1989, Chrome Hearts now graces their marks on a broad range of goods such as furniture, fine glass, apparel, jewelry, sunglasses and spectacles. There is also a customization program for select customers, where any item such as jewelry, shoes, or clothing can have that Chrome Hearts touch.
George Jr. is signed on for a five-race deal, and the Chrome Hearts brand logos will appear through Kentucky Speedway on July 18th. “The Chrome Hearts logos look awesome on my suit and new black car.” George Jr. said, while fitting his new Impact Racing Driving Suit. “Now that’s edgy. I look forward to working closely with them, wearing their logo on the track, and their sunglasses and clothing off of the track.” |
