Charlotte, NC (April 14, 2009) – 3 Wide Life is a show about real racers. A “real” racer eats, sleeps and breaths racing. That is exactly what NASCAR driver Scott Speed and ARCA RE/MAX driver Steve Arpin do everyday.
Driver of Eddie Sharp Racing's #2 Red Bull Toyota during the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series, Speed is featured in this week’s episode of 3 Wide Life. He has been a target of the producers of the show for some time now, as they feel he embodies the spirit of a racer “living the 3 Wide Life.” Racers who want to race. Anything and everything. Anytime, any place.
In addition to meeting Scott Speed, this week’s episode also features ESR ARCA RE/MAX driver Steve Arpin. Arpin discusses his own transition to stock cars and the expectations that come along with racing for an Eddie Sharp team. The show’s backdrop this week is Greenville Pickens Speedway and the viewers will learn about the history and future of one of NASCAR’s oldest sanctioned tracks. Shane Hmiel answers more questions from aspiring drivers.
