Denver, NC. (February 25, 2008) – Westmorland, California-native Justin Lofton has signed with Eddie Sharp Racing to drive a partial season in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2008. Lofton will pilot the No. 20 Dodge for ten events at the Salem Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Rockingham Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Nashville Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Toledo Speedway. Last year Lofton competed in the NASCAR Camping World Series West Division, formerly known as the Grand National West Series, finishing sixth in the series points standings.

“I am really looking forward to driving for Eddie Sharp Racing,” stated Lofton. “It is a stand-up organization and I think I will have a lot of success there. I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the [No.] 20 and taking the green flag at Salem.”
Discussions are currently underway to expand Lofton’s development to include events in the NASCAR Camping World Series, formerly the NASCAR Grand National Division, East and West Series.
